The VA loan is the best financing instrument in American housing and it is routinely sold badly. A veteran with a 760 score is quoted the same as one with a 620, because a lot of lenders run one VA price sheet and do not bother tiering it. VA Elite exists to stop that: it is pricing designed for higher FICO scores, and the card says so plainly.
The published terms are fixed, up to 100% LTV, and loans to $4,000,000. The jumbo range is the part most veterans do not expect, because the assumption is that VA financing tops out somewhere modest; on this card it does not, and no down payment is still published at the top of the range. Eligible property types are SFH, condos and PUDs, and the property must be a primary residence.
Two extras sit on the card and both are worth asking about by name. Escrow waivers are available, which lets a disciplined borrower keep control of taxes and insurance rather than funding an impound account. And temporary rate buydown options are available, which the VA ARM card explicitly does not offer. Transaction types covered are purchase and cash-out, and the FICO requirement is 640 or better.
Terms, requirements and benefits on this page are printed exactly as Loan Goat publishes them.
